last chance.

Lately, my blog has kind of died. I haven't had much to say, nothing exciting has really been happening. I have been thinking about killing it and starting over, but I think I'll give it one last chance. So this is where things change. I will try to blog at least once a week. I will try to make it interesting, no matter how boring it actually is. It would be a shame just to bury it under the old willow tree. Ok blog, I promise to try harder. Maybe we could use some colour around here. Maybe I should start using more pictures. Perhaps I will, but don't hold your breath for them. I'm sorry I've neglected you, so here's to starting over... but not completely.

one, two... skip a few... ninety-nine, a hundred!

It seems that whenever I really want or need an early night, I get all inspired. Not even inspired to do really awesome life changing things, but just to do things. Sometimes silly things, pointless things. And even impossible things. Its only 10pm now, but I have given myself a task that could potentially keep me up all night. Of course at some point, I will have to force sleep upon myself. Why oh why must it always be on a Tuesday night?

Ok. I have given myself a mission. Inspired by Triple J's hottest 100 of all time. I want to make a playlist of my top 100 songs. I really wish I didn't think of it. And the rule... one song per artist. Not sure if it can be done! I am going to have some trouble. Currently I am stuck on crowded house. I thought mean to me was my favourite, but then I remembered all of my other favourites. I do however know my favourite crowded house music video... something so strong. So funny! But yes. For now I am trying to think of all my obvious favourites. But I will struggle with a few artists.

And then... Do I put them in order? How will I ever choose that!

Once again it has been a very long time since last blogging. I'm thinking I might just start doing it more frequently these days...

A lot has changed recently, I suppose. The main thing being I am finally moved out of home! I was going to say ALL moved out of home, but the truth is I still have a few boxes of my childhood I need to sort through. But apart from that I am all moved out! I must say only moving a street away is quite handy. For example, I wanted poached eggs on toast for dinner. I have no toast. Or bread even. So I popped home and grabbed a few slices! Yay! Dinner can happen at last!

I am rather liking my new found independence. Sure it's only been a week, but I have a good feeling about this!

What else. Hmm, was just at the ranch this weekend for the first time in like a year. I wish I could get there more often. It made me realise how much I miss leading! Hopefully I will get the chance to soon. Although soon probably won't be for like at least a year! Oh well. It was a good weekend, though I experienced some unexplained emotional-ness. Sometimes you just need to cry I suppose!

I am tired and I need to poach my eggs, so until next time... farewell.

It is FINALLY over! I have officially survived 4 weeks of managerlessness (totally a word) at work. Now I don't have to worry if nobody can work on Sunday, I don't have to start work at 7am everyday, I don't have to stress like crazy, I don't have to walk into a mess of a coolroom after having a day off, I don't have to worry if I ordered enough ice creams (well, not as much at least), the pressure is off, and I am extremely relieved!

Ugh, its hot. Uber hot. And I don't like it much at all.

Today I bought towels that are 1m x 2m. Very large indeed.

I am annoyed with my hair cut. It looks weird.

I have a song stuck in my head. Oh my goodness, speaking of songs...

I totally heard worship music in coles the other week. Like not just mildly Jesusy, but FULLY! I was like hmm, I'm hearing a lot of holy and worship and Lord God almighty. And then I heard DC Talk!

I am looking forward to having a coles-free weekend.

I can smell steak. OH! I am about to eat steak! HOW RAD!

So, for the longest time I have said nothing. All of a sudden, I have things to say!

I am finally moving out!!! (That would be my most exciting thing).


The details - In about a month, up the hill, with Wendy and Claire. I am very much looking forward to it! So yay!
