little miss whoops.

It seems that I have a natural talent for being stupid. Oh dear...

So, the other day, I came home to find a certain person playing a certain game on my computer... without asking me! And, I was angry to say the least. So, in my fit of rage, I decided to put a password on my computer... hehe, yeah. That was smart.

So sometime the next day, I had a thought... oh, I hope I can remember that password...

And I didn't. So after hours of trying to remember my password and trying every combination that I could think of... after going to sleep and trying again the next day... I made the decision to factory re-boot (or something like that) my computer. Which of course meant I lost everything. On the positive, being relatively new there was not much to loose... but on the negative, I lost all of my music :( and it took ages to dump it, and because my ipod is full... there was music on my computer that was not on my ipod! I'm pretty sure that I only lost 1 of my most recently downloaded albums, but it is annoying!! And yeah. But I guess thats what I get for being stupid.

At least the password did its job.

what the heck is it with me and milk!

ok... if you thought the last story was... I don't know, something... well this one is like... something more. And yes, milk.

This morning I was pulling a pallet full of milk from the coolroom to the shop floor. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze getting through the back in some places. Hmm, yes. As I got to the narrowest part, I turned around to talk to someone, and with the smallest 'tap' (oh dear) crates of milk went crashing everywhere! Now, in my experience, when they fall and hit the ground, they tend to break... and usually there would be milk everywhere. But today, by some miracle... only about 5 bottles had slight leaks. Not a single smashed bottle! And there was A LOT of bottles and cartons of milk everywhere. It was embarrassing, and annoying... and it put me behind, but I remained unusually calm. Little miss stress-head, calm! It's true I tell you!

Sigh...

So yeah, then as I was filling milk, I discover that no smart buy 3 litre came in. NONE! There might as well have been no milk at all! But yeah... you deal with it. I definitely ordered it, it was even on the invoice... but when I called national foods they said it was 'unavailable'. Thanks for telling me!

Ok and I promise that will be the last milk story.
Well, maybe. I don't have much else going on in my life i'm afraid!

And yay!

Did I mention I got myself a laptop? It's pretty rad. But I wish it was red...

there's nothing quite like the smell of bad milk on your eyebrows...

This week at work I am running the department. It's a little scary, but mostly familiar. And now, for a story.

So today at work, at roughly 8:15am, I was in the coolroom restacking the milk crates and what not. While I was filling earlier, I found some out of date milk, so I was about to throw it into the waste. I was quite tired as it was still rather early and I am by no means a morning person, plus I went to bed way too late the night before. On top of that, the bed I am currently sleeping in is a total disaster. Usually my reflexes at work are quite good, they sort of have to be to avoid youghurt explosions. But like I said, I was tired. All of a sudden, 3 litres of you'll love coles lite had slipped from my fingers, and before I had even realised it was all over my face! I was quite confused. But we must be brave in these situations and not cry. It really would have been a funny thing to see... if anyone was lucky enough to be watching. It felt like a cartoon. It was a very big splash. I guess that is what happens when milk is dropped from head height... it bounces back! And of course it got everything I was wearing soaking wet in that 'oh so yucky this milk went bad 2 days ago' kind of way. But yes, my eyebrows... it was the worst!

hmm

I think I just signed my life over to coles... or something like that. Yep, I've officially gone full time, as of Monday. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I guess I will have to see how it goes. It means I will be working every single Saturday. And it means I will be working later than I would like to on week nights. Sigh. I'm not sure it was the right thing to do, but it is done now...

Oh dear...
