Right now.
My toes are cold.
I'm rather hungry.
I should be doing an assignment.
I'm home alone.
I'm waiting for my pay to go in so I can buy the tools required to fix a rather bad fringe hacking incident.
I'm sitting in an odd place.
I could use some company.
I'm wishing for too many things.
I should really wash the dishes.
My back is quite sore.
My hair is damp.
Everything is oh so quiet.
I don't know about a lot of things.
I really want to read Winnie the Pooh.
Have a day / Celebratory by The Polyphonic Spree is playing over in my head.
I don't know where to begin.
I'm looking forward to the weekend.
I'm considering putting socks on.
I think I'm done.

eek!
It only just dawned on me... My life as I knew it no longer exists. Four weeks in and bam... totally hit me. And I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed.
ok so I tried to put a picture up, but failed.
Basically, I have no life now. I've only just realised. I just made a time plan for my week... And it is full! There is like no spare time! Or maybe there is, but like only 2 hours spare for the entire week. and I was still short 4 hours of study time.
Ok, so this is my little freak out. Of course the chances of me sticking to a schedule are quite slim, but really, I have to try! It's the only way I will get almost enough study done...

pet hate.
I really REALLY dislike it when words that should be spelled with a "C" are spelled with a "K"... with the exception of Kool Fruits. "Cool" Fruits would just look lame.

last chance.
Lately, my blog has kind of died. I haven't had much to say, nothing exciting has really been happening. I have been thinking about killing it and starting over, but I think I'll give it one last chance. So this is where things change. I will try to blog at least once a week. I will try to make it interesting, no matter how boring it actually is. It would be a shame just to bury it under the old willow tree. Ok blog, I promise to try harder. Maybe we could use some colour around here. Maybe I should start using more pictures. Perhaps I will, but don't hold your breath for them. I'm sorry I've neglected you, so here's to starting over... but not completely.

one, two... skip a few... ninety-nine, a hundred!
It seems that whenever I really want or need an early night, I get all inspired. Not even inspired to do really awesome life changing things, but just to do things. Sometimes silly things, pointless things. And even impossible things. Its only 10pm now, but I have given myself a task that could potentially keep me up all night. Of course at some point, I will have to force sleep upon myself. Why oh why must it always be on a Tuesday night?
Ok. I have given myself a mission. Inspired by Triple J's hottest 100 of all time. I want to make a playlist of my top 100 songs. I really wish I didn't think of it. And the rule... one song per artist. Not sure if it can be done! I am going to have some trouble. Currently I am stuck on crowded house. I thought mean to me was my favourite, but then I remembered all of my other favourites. I do however know my favourite crowded house music video... something so strong. So funny! But yes. For now I am trying to think of all my obvious favourites. But I will struggle with a few artists.
And then... Do I put them in order? How will I ever choose that!
When (slash if) I complete the list, I will show you.

I don't need no title. (Because I just can't think of one!)
Once again it has been a very long time since last blogging. I'm thinking I might just start doing it more frequently these days...
A lot has changed recently, I suppose. The main thing being I am finally moved out of home! I was going to say ALL moved out of home, but the truth is I still have a few boxes of my childhood I need to sort through. But apart from that I am all moved out! I must say only moving a street away is quite handy. For example, I wanted poached eggs on toast for dinner. I have no toast. Or bread even. So I popped home and grabbed a few slices! Yay! Dinner can happen at last!
I am rather liking my new found independence. Sure it's only been a week, but I have a good feeling about this!
What else. Hmm, was just at the ranch this weekend for the first time in like a year. I wish I could get there more often. It made me realise how much I miss leading! Hopefully I will get the chance to soon. Although soon probably won't be for like at least a year! Oh well. It was a good weekend, though I experienced some unexplained emotional-ness. Sometimes you just need to cry I suppose!
I am tired and I need to poach my eggs, so until next time... farewell.

this and that.
It is FINALLY over! I have officially survived 4 weeks of managerlessness (totally a word) at work. Now I don't have to worry if nobody can work on Sunday, I don't have to start work at 7am everyday, I don't have to stress like crazy, I don't have to walk into a mess of a coolroom after having a day off, I don't have to worry if I ordered enough ice creams (well, not as much at least), the pressure is off, and I am extremely relieved!
Ugh, its hot. Uber hot. And I don't like it much at all.
Today I bought towels that are 1m x 2m. Very large indeed.
I am annoyed with my hair cut. It looks weird.
I have a song stuck in my head. Oh my goodness, speaking of songs...
I totally heard worship music in coles the other week. Like not just mildly Jesusy, but FULLY! I was like hmm, I'm hearing a lot of holy and worship and Lord God almighty. And then I heard DC Talk!
I am looking forward to having a coles-free weekend.
I can smell steak. OH! I am about to eat steak! HOW RAD!

Yay!
So, for the longest time I have said nothing. All of a sudden, I have things to say!
I am finally moving out!!! (That would be my most exciting thing).
The details - In about a month, up the hill, with Wendy and Claire. I am very much looking forward to it! So yay!

I can breathe
Tonight I got breath tested at the McDonalds drive thru! I was super impressed! I thought it quite quite sneaky and very smart, because drunk people go to McDonalds. It's what they do...

hello.
14 sleeps til Christmas. Where has the year gone!
Well I haven't written anything in a while. I guess I'm boring. Today I put a new ipod on layby. I'm excited about that! My old one is full, and it makes me sad. And this way I will have plenty of room for all of my songs and more. To celebrate, I bought an extra 50 downloads from emusic. Yipee! The 26th did seem way too far away anyway. I guess it is only 15 sleeps...
I'm not really sure what has been happening. I've been feeling quite busy recently. I suppose this is my 46 hour week at work, and I have quite a few other Christmasy things going on. I am quite looking forward to Sunday afternoon, where the bulk of it shall be over. Sigh.
I saw a kangaroo hopping up the road last night. I thought it was a person at first. It seems I was wrong.
I would really like to go on a holiday, I have decided. Either that, or find a new job. ha. ha. It's not that bad I guess, but yes. I want holidays! But I don't think that will happen for a while.
Oh, so I haven't eaten chocolate in like... 11 days, I think. I decided to give it up for a while... I still haven't decided how long for. I sort of want to give it up for as long as possible... but that means I could quit at any time. I think I shall keep going, see what happens. I'm thinking I will avoid it at the very least until Christmas. But maybe I will keep going. Hmm. What to do. It's no big deal. But I have decided I should give up something else as well. Not sure what. Maybe juice. I drink too much juice... I'm sure that if I can give up chocolate, I can give up anything. Maybe.
Oh, I need to find 2 santa suits within the next 20 hours. Bother. And a kazoo...
And I think I have done enough rambling for the evening... Now.

Happy.
I am so unbelievably excited. I have Saturday off! And Sunday. Oh, and Monday!!! 3 days... in a row! Yay!
And...
I will no longer be working every Saturday... only every second! So it seems I have some of my life back!

ebay shmebay
Ahh, gotta love it when you bid on things on ebay without really thinking it through.
And especially when you win.
Seriously, what do I want with 20 pairs of kiddie earrings? I don't really know what I was thinking. Oh well!

hehe, oops.
Oh dear. I guess it had to happen sooner or later... (but never would have been nice)I reversed into a gate. Sigh. I wish I didn't, but I was tired and stuff. And now Lorelei has an ugly rear. 23 hasn't started so well... but at least things will only get better from here. I have decided!
On a happy note, I received something exciting and yummy in the mail! It kinda made my day. I also played in the park with Amanda. The tyre swings were more painful than I remembered, but very fun. And, the mascara I'm wearing is freaking awesome. I was lazy and didn't take it off last night, but when I looked in the mirror at 5:30 this morning, I looked better than normal! No panda eyes at all. And, then today... I had an eye rubbing fit. And I was like oh no, I just rubbed my mascara off... but I didn't! It was still on my eyelashes, and only my eyelashes. Not even a tiny bit of black on my face! So that is a very good thing!
And yeah. Now I'm sleepy and must go... sleep. Ha! I can't wait til Saturday afternoon is here!

heck yes!
I am sooo excited to have a whole 3 days off in a row! Since becoming full time, I have hardly had a proper day off for one reason or another... excluding Sundays of course. So it is super rad that I have 3 days away from coles! I seriously don't know what to do... and yay, one of those days is a birthday day!
The only sort of interesting thing is, Tuesday is my managers last day before she goes to Cranbourne... and the person who was going to be the new manager isn't coming for some reason. Meaning that I am left on my own until further notice. I hope that notice comes soon... coz there is heaps of stuff I've got no idea how to do. I just hope that when I go to work on Wednesday there is some news! But until then, I am going to try super hard not to think about it... and I'm gonna try even harder not to stress about it.
And back to happy thoughts !

little miss whoops.
It seems that I have a natural talent for being stupid. Oh dear...
So, the other day, I came home to find a certain person playing a certain game on my computer... without asking me! And, I was angry to say the least. So, in my fit of rage, I decided to put a password on my computer... hehe, yeah. That was smart.
So sometime the next day, I had a thought... oh, I hope I can remember that password...
And I didn't. So after hours of trying to remember my password and trying every combination that I could think of... after going to sleep and trying again the next day... I made the decision to factory re-boot (or something like that) my computer. Which of course meant I lost everything. On the positive, being relatively new there was not much to loose... but on the negative, I lost all of my music :( and it took ages to dump it, and because my ipod is full... there was music on my computer that was not on my ipod! I'm pretty sure that I only lost 1 of my most recently downloaded albums, but it is annoying!! And yeah. But I guess thats what I get for being stupid.
At least the password did its job.

what the heck is it with me and milk!
ok... if you thought the last story was... I don't know, something... well this one is like... something more. And yes, milk.
This morning I was pulling a pallet full of milk from the coolroom to the shop floor. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze getting through the back in some places. Hmm, yes. As I got to the narrowest part, I turned around to talk to someone, and with the smallest 'tap' (oh dear) crates of milk went crashing everywhere! Now, in my experience, when they fall and hit the ground, they tend to break... and usually there would be milk everywhere. But today, by some miracle... only about 5 bottles had slight leaks. Not a single smashed bottle! And there was A LOT of bottles and cartons of milk everywhere. It was embarrassing, and annoying... and it put me behind, but I remained unusually calm. Little miss stress-head, calm! It's true I tell you!
Sigh...
So yeah, then as I was filling milk, I discover that no smart buy 3 litre came in. NONE! There might as well have been no milk at all! But yeah... you deal with it. I definitely ordered it, it was even on the invoice... but when I called national foods they said it was 'unavailable'. Thanks for telling me!
Ok and I promise that will be the last milk story.
Well, maybe. I don't have much else going on in my life i'm afraid!

there's nothing quite like the smell of bad milk on your eyebrows...
This week at work I am running the department. It's a little scary, but mostly familiar. And now, for a story.
So today at work, at roughly 8:15am, I was in the coolroom restacking the milk crates and what not. While I was filling earlier, I found some out of date milk, so I was about to throw it into the waste. I was quite tired as it was still rather early and I am by no means a morning person, plus I went to bed way too late the night before. On top of that, the bed I am currently sleeping in is a total disaster. Usually my reflexes at work are quite good, they sort of have to be to avoid youghurt explosions. But like I said, I was tired. All of a sudden, 3 litres of you'll love coles lite had slipped from my fingers, and before I had even realised it was all over my face! I was quite confused. But we must be brave in these situations and not cry. It really would have been a funny thing to see... if anyone was lucky enough to be watching. It felt like a cartoon. It was a very big splash. I guess that is what happens when milk is dropped from head height... it bounces back! And of course it got everything I was wearing soaking wet in that 'oh so yucky this milk went bad 2 days ago' kind of way. But yes, my eyebrows... it was the worst!

hmm
I think I just signed my life over to coles... or something like that. Yep, I've officially gone full time, as of Monday. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I guess I will have to see how it goes. It means I will be working every single Saturday. And it means I will be working later than I would like to on week nights. Sigh. I'm not sure it was the right thing to do, but it is done now...
Oh dear...

I heart music
Today I bought a cd! I haven't bought a cd in ages, but I really couldn't help myself. I popped into JB hifi to pick up an ipod car thingy (very technical term I know), and it just happened. I did get very good prices... and it's not available in 'my region' on emusic. pfft. But yay, now I can listen to she & him anytime I want!

how strange...
The other day, I bought a fax machine. That in itself is strange... but what is even stranger is that I just recieved a fax. A wrong number fax! How funny...

goodbye bus, hello petrol.
Yay! I have my car, she's awesome. Turns out she is a girl after all, and her name is Lorelei Beatrix. She's perdy. I'm very excited about the adventures that we will have together...
Did I say yay already?

finally! well, almost...
YAY! I am almost the owner of my very own car! Hopefully by the end of the week, I actually will be! I have found a car. It is rad. That's rad, not red. It is actually blue...
here is a picture...

Anyhoo, I have left a deposit until the finance comes through, which will hopefully be no later than friday. Oh, there is just so many papers to read and sign! Which I probably should be doing right now. But I am not. Clearly. Actually I probably should be sleeping. Do I sound tired? I think i'm writing funny. Hmm, that would actually be do I read tired? Yep, I think that confirms it. Wish I got a few hours more than I did last night... but, moving on...
So yeah, I can't wait to get my car. I only have one dilemma... and you know what they say, when life gives you dilemmas, you make... dilemmanade!
...
So yes, my dilemma... (dilemma is a funny word. kind of like awkward...)
What shall I name my car? You see, I've only driven it once. I'm not sure if it's a boy or a girl yet. If it's a boy it might be Thomas. If it's a girl, it might be Tahlula. Lulu? Hmm... Maybe it's a Tuppence. Oh no! Suggestions are welcome, on both a gender and names! I'm leaning towards boy. And Tuppence.

mmm. holiday.
Oh yay! This year my birthday falls on Cup Day. This also means I can choose to work and earn lots, or have the day off and earn normal. And this year, I am choosing the day off! So exciting too, because the day before is my natural day off. So I will have 3 days in a row!
Now I just have to figure out something exciting to do!
Now I just have to figure out something exciting to do!
playing house
On the 19th of Sept - the 19th of October (or there abouts) Amanda and I will be housesitting. I am very much looking forward to it, except for the lack of car. So, I have applied for a loan, even though I wanted to save for it... but we will see what happens. How rad it would be to have my own car! Especially within a couple of weeks!

did you know?
Spring Valley Liddle Fact #44
The yo-yo originated in The Philippines as a hunting weapon.
(I quite liked that one!)

hmm, today at work, I did a whoopsie. I was mortified, but I don't think anybody noticed... or at least they may not have noticed it was me. It's really not that bad... its just a whoops. or an oops... whichever you prefer really.
So, over the pa I heard 'Dairy case phonecall 5201, dairy case phonecall 5201'.
Ooh, thats me. I'm in dairy and am a case of some sort...
So down I headed to the storeman's desk to take the call. Hmm, 5201... 5201... I think i'll put in 3301. Ends in a 1... why not! 'Hello thi...' Nope, should have gone with 5201. 3301 is the pa!
So there you go. Just a little bit more proof that i'm a silly. I was embarrassed. I swear when I walked out the girl in the deli looked at me weird. Well, she did in my mind anyway!

pop goes something...
Oh dear. This afternoon I experienced my very first flat tyre.
I was driving home from a tupperware party, and I noticed a funny sound. So I pulled over to have a look. This was surely a smart thing to do. I noticed there was a bolt of some sort stuck in my back left tyre. Not a good thing... but I thought 'Oh well', and got back in and headed for home. (This was surely NOT a smart thing to do.)
Shortly after I made it on to the freeway, I thought somebody threw a rock at me, as I heard a bit of a bang of some sort. It concerned me, but on I drove. I almost made it to Berwick, when I noticed somebody was flashing at me. So over to the side we pulled... The man was like 'You have a REALLY flat tyre... I wouldn't drive on it. Do you have a spare?' My response... 'Um, I don't know! maybe I'll call my dad.' (silly melly. My boot was full of tupperware, I didn't know there was a secret compartment!) Well, calling my dad didn't prove to be so helpful. All I wanted was to be rescued! Anyway, I spoke to my mum, and if she had a car, she would have come straight away... but she didn't, coz I was in it! So, I gave Wendy a call, and arranged for her and Sarah to pick my mum up and come and find me.
I didn't like sitting on the side of the road so much, I didn't like it at all really.
Eventually, help had arrived and mumsy showed me how to change a tyre. In the almost dark. Can't say I really remember what she did... but I am going to make sure I learn properly! We had a dodgy thingo, but luckily Sarah had an un-dodgy one in her boot. And after an hour or so of side-of-the-road-not-so-fun, we were on our way home.
The end.

hello.
Oh wow. It has been a very long time. I can't believe how long. Surely my life can't have been that boring! It's not that i've been too busy... I just forgot. Hmm...
And yet, I am at a total blank. So nothing exciting has happened too recently, but over the past few months...
June 1- Congratulations Bel & Tom on your marriage! Enjoy your ironing board!
About a week later- Congratulations to Danielle & Dogga on your engagement! Happy planning!
July- I can't remember anything from July... Oh Foundations was born, congratulations Jill!
August 13th- Happy 50th Birthday Dad!
August 18th- Happy 18th Birthday Mel Cleal!
Well, short and sweet... but that is all I have for now. I won't leave it so long til next time. And eventually I will put up some wedding photos etc. I don't have them on the computer since I killed my mother's laptop... but I will make it happen, one day!

tupperiffic!
wow, I can't believe it... I had a really good week this week, tupperwise. I only had 2 parties, but I had sales of over $2300, which = more money for me than I make at coles in a week. So yeah, rad! I am supposed to be saving it all for a car... but it might come in handy to pay for some things needed for the upcoming wedding. yeah!

a slight makeover...
I wonder if anyone will notice.

the adventures of car sharing.
Oh, the funniest thing...
The last two mornings I drove my dad to work so that I could have the use of the car. I was actually planning to get everything done yesterday, but after I got home I decided that I needed more sleep, and as it was only 6:03am I decided to have a couple of extra hours. But, silly me... I slept in too late, and I didn't have enough time to get all of my running around things done by the time I needed to. So, I drove my dad to work, came home, slept, woke up, did things at home... and then I went and picked dad up. Ha, really silly... Anyways... Today I really really had to get those things done, so I drove my dad to work again. And yes... I did get my things done, and it meant that I didn't have to catch the bus to work which was rad. Anyways, (this is the funniest thing that I mentioned earlier...) As I was driving towards the big round-a-bout to cross the bypass in nar nar goon, I saw what I thought was a plastic bag in the middle of the road, and I decided to go round. As I got closer I realised that it wasn't a plastic bag, it was actually a chicken! It looked like it was standing there dead, or in shock. I had to double check that it even had a head... it was so bizarre! Ahh... fancy that, a chicken!
Ahh, it was so worth getting up so early! Oh, and my dad works down lovers lane! I had totally forgotten and when I saw the sign I was tres excited! So incredibly Anne-ish. Except there is nothing down lovers lane except for an emu farm and an abbatoir... not very romantic, but incredibly funny!

well, at least it's good for the environment...
How tragical. I will be totally without a car after Saturday. I really don't know how my life will work...
modular mates and other things.
Happy Bridal Shower Belinda! On Saturday it was Bel's bridal shower / kitchen tea / what ever you want to call it. We actually decided to do her a tupperware one before I became a demonstrator... but as it worked out, it was my first party! And it was a huge success! Bel ended up with loads of tupperware, and the total sales were very nice indeed! Twas great for my first party, hopefully my next few parties are good too!
I don't have any pictures, but hopefully I can get some from someone...
Oh, and Danielle Bianca made the best ever Belgian lemon tea cake. It was AWESOME!!
On the note of bridalness... Last night we had some hens night planning... I think all of the bridesmaids are quite happy with what we came up with. Of course, I can't say what we came up with... what if Bel found out!

so close... yet so far.
Oh, so it seems that i'm not tech savvy at all... no, no... I'm actually quite the opposite. You see, the problem is this. I made a totally sweet compilation... but I can't figure out how to get the songs off my ipod and into itunes and then... onto a cd. Ahh, it is frustrating. Oh well. I have always wanted to make a sweet compilation... and I finally did. A really good one too. I think Wendy would be impressed. But I can't give it to her.
The end.
The end.

I like the cold. I'm not complaining!
Yesterday I had my very first dairy experience at work! (Well, excluding when I did stocktake...) I must say I really enjoyed it. Today I did another few hours also. Yesterday I was just working load, and today I was shown how to do markdowns. It was amazing how quickly the time flew by... Maybe because i'm doing something new... but probably because there is so much to keep you busy. Next week I will be given another couple of shifts, then the week after I will do a full week... and then there will be discussions about starting my part time position. They decided to ease me into the department, rather than just throwing me in... which I really appreciate. But so far I really like working in dairy. It is quite physical and cold... but I'll get used to it.
I can't say I ever really considered a career with coles, but I guess when there are opportunities to move up and around, why not take them? I mean, I'm not exactly doing anything else, am I now!

playing house and making friends of the woofy kind.
So I haven't really written anything of interest lately, (i'm sure nobody cares that I can't spell people...) so I think its time to do so! Well, at least try to do so. So... here we go.
At the moment I am housesitting for Janneke and Nic while they are in Papua New Guinea. It has been both a fun and interesting experience. I have enjoyed having my own space, but at the same time I have really missed living with people. I have not been totally alone however. I have had the company of Ben & Penny... two rather lovely dogs. Now, prior to this experience, I really didn't like dogs generally speaking... and I was quite scared of them. For the first two nights or so at Janneke's I got my sibs to come over and feed them. But then I decided to be brave and go out and spend some time with them. And... what do you know! Penny sure does bark a lot, but all she wants is her belly rubbed. And all Ben wants to do is play fetch. And so now I have two new friends.
This experience has opened me up to the possibility of one day becoming a dog owner! Something I never thought I wanted to be by choice... but yeah, there you go! Maybe one day I will!

from checkout chick to dairy queen?
So yesterday at work, I got a gold star! I thought that was pretty cool. (Not an actual gold star, but a certificate and chocolates because I got 100% in some customer first check thingo... ha, I don't even really know what it means other than I have good customer service skills...) Anyway, today while I was at work, Fiona approached me to tell me that they have a part time position in dairy, 32 hours per week... for me! At first I was like heck yes, but it does mean that I have to work weekends... and yes, Sundays. I really don't want to work Sundays, even though the money is good. They won't make me work mornings at least... and I am hoping that it is not every sunday. If it was only a couple a month, I would strongly consider it. Well i'm strongly considering it anyway. Sigh. I really hope it is not every Sunday...
So yeah. I have easter to think about it, and then the store manager will talk to me. It will be a very different job, and honestly it does make me a tad sad to give up being a checkout chick, which is kinda funny... but I do enjoy it. I'm sure the dairy thing will be hard work, but it will be good. Of course I know I will take the job... but that doesn't mean I've finished thinking and praying about all that I need to. It really does come at a good time though, I think. I need stable hours, I really do. And 32 is a pretty good amount I reckon!
So yeah. That is my latest story!
Another thing... As I was walking out from work and saying bye to everyone, one of the girls I work with was like 'what's that you've got?' (I was holding the position description thingo) I showed her and she was like 'you put that back!'... Oh, to be loved!

In other news...
I almost forgot. I am going to become a tupperware demonstrator! I really hope this new adventure is successful, and that the people around me are supportive. I just figured it would be a great opportunity for me to get out there and have some fun, meet some new people and earn some extra money. I love the fact that it is flexible, and that I can work around my checkout chickness. So yes. I am having a go, so fingers & toes it's a winner. I'm having my announcement party on Tuesday evening, so hopefully lots of people come along and book parties to get me started!
I refuse to go numb...
Well. I just went to the dentist. I got 3 of the 6 fillings I need (eek) and my mouth is very numb. But the worst of it all (and one of the main reasons why I had put off going to the dentist for so long)... I have to get my wisdom teeth removed. Apparently this won't be an easy task... as they aren't exactly exposed. I am really really not looking forward to this! Financially, it is a dumb time... (I have no idea how much is costs... but it is gonna cost something!) I have to get a car, pay for a bridesmaids dress and other related things... all in the same sort of time frame. Sigh... Oh well, this is an opportunity. An opportunity to trust God and to let him be my provider.
So yeah. That is my story.
So yeah. That is my story.

Last night I went and saw the basics and gotye at the prince and it was wonderful! I have been wanting to see the basics for ages, but just never really got round to it... and I really wanted to see gotye, like really, coz he is awesome... so I was very happy indeed. And yeah. All I can say is that if you ever get the chance to see gotye... do it! Just one guy and all that music... incredible!

going down...
I have lost 3kgs in the last 3 weeks, and I am pretty happy about it! I am actually looking forward to being weighed and measured next week... for once in my life! I guess all I really needed was some good motivation. And it seems that the whole bridesmaid thing is a good motivator. So yay for Bel and Tom getting hitched!
I heart the library
Today I was bored. So I decided to go to the library. Before today, I hadn't gone to the library in well over a year... but I am very glad I did indeed! Did you know that you can borrow an unlimited number of books for 4 weeks? And 15 cd's for 2 weeks? Coz you can!
I have recently decided that I want to read more. Fancy that! I spend way too much of my time watching movies and tv on dvd... I mean I do love nothern exposure, don't get me wrong... but one should really do other things with their time. And I think I need to stretch my imagination a little. I really haven't been letting it be all that it really is. I am sorry, imagination of mine! (Note to self: must finish reading all of the anne books... I kind of stopped half way through anne's house of dreams for some unknown reason...)
I have also decided that I want to learn how to knit properly. I mean, anyone can knit one purl one, but I want to be able to knit knit. Like make cardigans and socks and stuff. Well, I borrowed this super rad book... and now i'm all inspired.
I also really want to get into drawing again. So I borrowed a bunch of books to do with drawing. I even got this one little book that is all about drawing hands. I really suck at drawing hands...
And yeah. I am excited. And feeling rather inspired... so there you go!

fun times
Ha, I totally published that last one at 11:11!
And I think it was today at work that I looked at the screen when the total of all scanned items so far came to... $111.11!
Gosh, I have a real talent for finding fun numbers. If that is even possible...

walking home late at night
It is always a scary walk from The Villa to my house late at night. There is a particular stretch that is terribly dark... it really freaks me out. Anyhoo, I was just saying to Danielle how creepy it was and then I was all 'ooh, better not scare myself'... and then I left for the oh so long journey home. Yes, I freaked out along the usual part... but then it gets to a 'safe spot' which is nice and light. And then it gets to my driveway... By the driveway, I am relieved because I am home, but part of me still races up and into the house as quickly as I can. This time... was no different from any other, except for one little thing. As I raced up the driveway I walked through a massive spider web... so massive I didn't even know what it was. I was rubbing my arms and it felt really static and strange. I loudly entered the house to see all of these buggy things stuck to me. It was yuck. And there you go. Just when I thought I could relax, I got quite a fright! The end.
(Yep, another extremely crap story. It's what I do...)
I feel like there are spiders crawling all over me p.s.

happy sounds.
Heeharr... I bought cd's today. And last night I ordered another online. I am excited... though there were a few that I couldn't find that I wanted... probably not a bad thing though, coz I shouldn't be spending all my money on cd's! Sometimes it just can't be helped...
oops and again oops...
As of late, I have somehow gotten into the ridiculous habit of leaving things sitting on the roof of the car and then driving off. It usually always involves at least a bottle of water + something else... which has included board games and dvd's. My first offense was a board game. I was driving around the round-a-bout and this dude was pointing at me and I turned around thinking why the heck is he pointing, but as I accelerated up the hill I heard a thud... and there it was all over the road. I then had to go back and pick it all up. Thankfully the cards didn't scatter everywhere... was a tad embarassing though. But yeah I've done it at least 3 times in the last week or two... oh dear!!

no need for bus money just yet...
Do you want to know what I found out today? I found out that I have until mid year to buy my own car. How fabulous! I honestly thought I had three weeks or until whenever it is that Jemimah gets back from Paris. Nobody told me that she wasn't going back to uni until mid year... I have been stressing A LOT about the fact that I will be carless very soon... but that is not the case it seems. I really need to learn to stress less... my teeth REALLY hurt. Oh gosh...
kitten love
Tonight I stormed out of the house in fits of rage (almost literally) and headed off to anywhere (by foot). I was hoping to chill out at the park for a while to do some thinking and some calming, but some kids were playing... what they were still doing up was beyond me! Anyways, I walked a little way but not too far (as I didn't change into appropriate shoes) and hoped to walk away all that was going on in my head. But I had nowhere to go and I didn't feel like walking for ages so I turned around and headed back towards the park. Just as I was approaching, some people were leaving and I noticed that there was a cat wandering around. I walked over to the playground to sit and process stuff... and this little kitty just wouldn't leave me alone! It was pretty intense. At first I wanted it to get away... but it wouldn't give up on me. It was sitting on my lap, purring, trying to climb up my chest... if I moved away... it would run right up to me. It reminded me of a time years ago when I was deeply upset and all I wanted was a hug, and out of nowhere a little kitten came up and began smooching my leg. I really felt that it was God giving me a hug. Maybe God sent this kitty to me also... I mean it worked. I forgot about all that was eating me up. It calmed me down. And then I went home, and life was ok.
I did take photos, but I couldn't find my cord... so I will have to upload them later.

A silly story and a deeper thought...
Well... I am good at not posting for ages, and then when I do its boring! Ha! But I won't let that stop me from having a ramble...
So. I don't really know what there is to say actually. I feel all blocked up on the inside recently, it is quite frustrating. Let me think...
The other day I was to start work at 6am. I usually set my alarm clock for 4:44 on those days, just so I am actually up by the time I am supposed to be... which is about 5. Usually I snooze it once, then I get up. But on this particular morning, it didn't quite happen that way. I'm not quite sure if I snoozed and ignored, or if I just didn't wake up... or if I was confused. But as it turned out I didn't actually wake up until 5:44... The time I usually leave! I had a little bit of a freak out... I mean I was supposed to be opening up the front end. If I was late or didn't show... people would be angry. Anyway... I got ready in lightning speed and got myself to work. And guess what time I signed on at? 5:59! Can you believe it? Heck, I can't! From in bed to at work in 15 minutes. I must say it was some sort of miracle. When I was sleeping literally 10 seconds from were I was working it took me longer than that. Ok, so I must admit... I wasn't wearing socks, I didn't eat breakfast and I didn't clean my teeth (eew)... but I was there. And that is my story!
What else...
Yeah. Life is intense in a very nothingness kind of way. I'm sure that makes no sense at all... I get what I mean. Sort of. I just keep getting stuck thinking about things, but nothing much comes from it. I dunno... its like this. I really want change in my life, but I'm not prepared to do what is required to make it happen. It is a horrible way to live, and it is only the fault of myself. And this is something I am very aware of. Hmmm...
My internet is being a poo... what's the bet that this thing doesn't post...
Hmmm...

pink k 68...
Oooh... I went to the eating house in rowville for new years and won a $50 voucher for the restaurant. I know I always win everything... but please don't hate me! So, who's up for some modern australian cuisine! I am! (Tis very good food there. The music ain't bad either!)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
So yay, it is 2008 already. My thoughts on 2007... well, i'm trying not to look backwards. All of the things that I wish I done, that I thought would happen etc... are in the past. This year is fresh with no mistakes in it... well, no mistakes in it yet! But I am very excited at all of the possibilities. And this year, I don't want to hold back and let fear control me. I don't want to watch things happen... I want to get amongst it. I want to grow and learn and experience things. At the same time I don't want to go crazy and put too much pressure on myself and then be dissapointed when I fail. When I fall I will get up again and just keep swimming!
So bring on 2008!
So bring on 2008!

lucky for some...
Part One: Yahtzee baby!
Today was a mega games-ish kind of day. After Mia's birthday lunch (happy birthday Mia), I went to Fountain Gate with Danielle & Dogga who were spending their Christmas vouchers. While we were there, I bought yahtzee, as you do. On the way home we stopped in at the super clinic, where it was predicted we would be for at least an hour. So, Dogga and I decided to head up to McDonalds to play yahtzee.
It was funny enough trying to shake the dice quietly as to not disturb the other patrons who were dining in, but that was only the start of funny. It got to the last roll of the first game. The only thing that Dogga had left to score was a yahtzee. So in the first roll, he rolls 2 aces. "I'm going for a yahtzee with the ones." Says Dogga. Next roll another one shows up. Then enter me and my big mouth. "Yeah right, you're gonna get a yahtzee. You know what, I bet you will! You will so get a yahtzee." (or something like that) And what do you know! In the last roll... 2 aces!!! It was hysterically funny at the time, perhaps you had to be there. I nearly fell off my chair... good times. Big Laughs.
In the second game, a similar thing happened. On my very last turn I also scored a yahtzee! not quite as funny as the first time, but it did add to the crazyness. Then we went home...
Part 2: Killer Bunnies.
Later that night we went around to Rick and Kassie's where we played some more games. We started with taboo while Dogga read the rules of killer bunnies. That was fun. And then we spent a good hour or so learning how to play killer bunnies. Which i'm still not sure I totally understand! Anyhoo... Ellie attacked my bunny with a whisk, which meant for my bunny to survive I had to roll higher than a one. So, there was a one in twelve chance of my bunny being whisked to death. So what do you think the silly melly rolled? Yep... one! And as I was about to roll I was like here we go, I will so get a one... oh gosh!! It was hillariously funny, but even more so for Dogga and I because of the whole yahtzee with ones thing. I was sitting opposite Dogga and seriously... I have never seen such a funny reaction in all my life! I swear things went pop inside of his head. He nearly jumped out of his skin! Ok so in writing this, I guess you really just had to be there... But trust me, I laughed so much it hurt. Ahhhhh...
And seriously. You need to play killer bunnies. It's bully!

nothing to say really... but i'm saying it anyway!
Well it sure has been a while since I've written anything here... and it's been even longer since i've written anything interesting. The fact of the matter is that there is nothing interesting going on... and therefore I felt there was no reason to write. But it has come to the point where I must write something, no matter how boring it is... or I shall never write anything again!
I went to look at the birds eggs in the backyard the other day, and I saw a birdie... i'm not sure if it was mother or child however. I was too scared to go really close due to my slight phobia of birds... you never know when they might turn on you and peck your eyes out. But I did manage to zoom to the max and get this really dodgy photo...

What else. The other day we (my bro, sis & I) went into the city to get some glamour (haha) portraits done as a present for my grandparents. It was crazy, expensive... and they didn't respect my angles, but it was fun. I shall be very interested to see how they turn out... I wasn't overly impressed with what I did see as I didn't like my face in them. But we shall see... so long as the oldies like it. At least my sister looked hot. She normally pulls retarded faces in photos... but this occasion was a rare exception. Here is a pic of me & naomi, taken later that day...

And yeah. What else. I completed my folio course thingy... So now hopefully I will be able to work towards getting into a course somewhere, maybe mid year or something. At least I know how to make a folio and deal with an interview and stuff... I just need to work on my sewing skills. And my organizational skills!
Today I went to fountain lakes and I bought my bald mother a pirate bandana. It is like so bully, but I don't think she likes it. I guess she just isn't a pirate at heart like me. Currently my brother is wearing it.
And there... I have written a few somethings, my blog is not dead! Hopefully something exciting will happen before I post next, and I shall share it here. Maybe!

oh dear...
This week has been kinda silly. I can't believe the stupid things I have been doing...
It all started on on Tuesday when I rocked up to work at 10 to 6 in the morning. I had thought it was stocktake, and as I am unavailable on Tuesday evenings, I was going to help with dairy. I hadn't got all that much sleep the night before, but I was there... a week early. I really don't know how I got my weeks mixed up, I guess it was just a lack of a brain. Anyway, I was particulary not excited about getting up at 5am knowing that I would have a late night... and because of whatever, I was there when I didn't need to be. On my way out the door, the person who was working offered the shift to me, but I was freaking out about my lack of sleep, and went back to bed. However I did somehow agree to working at 6am the next day... after a late night. I'm not sure why...
On Wednesday, the person who was working my shift in the afternoon called in sick, and after many calls there was nobody to fill it. So I ended up working a second time that day. It really hurt.
I also had to cancel my hair appointment twice... once due to working, once due to sleeping in. Finally I made it on my third try.
Its just been one of those weeks. But I am determined to make sure the weekend is fabulous.
ps- my mum looks like yoda.

toilet paper...
All this last week, I have been really disturbed by the prints that I have found on the toilet paper. I mean sure, shells and flowers and dolphins... they are all pretty standard... but jellyfish? now that is just plain wrong. But then I noticed something even more bizarre... not only are there jellyfish on this particular toilet paper, but there are embossed roses. For this combination, I do not have words...

a really crap story, but i'm sharing anyway.
hehehe... at work the other day I had to try really hard not to giggle. (since then I have giggled)... A customer bought something, as customers often do... blah blah (skipping ahead)... the purchase was completed, and the customer... a he as he was... finished off by saying "Thanks girlfriend". It really was hillarious in my mind... I guess you just had to be there, and come to think of it you probably really have to be me to think its funny... so really, why am I posting this? coz I am silly. but oh well. It was one of those little moments that really made my day.
In all fairness I did say it was a crap story.

tonsils are stupid.
Yucky, I hate being sick. On Thursday, I realised that I was going to have to go to the doctors... so I called in sick to work (which I hate doing) and made an appointment. Then that night I went to see a Ben Lee gig. I felt so dodgy, like I was wagging school or something. (However it was awesome! Ben is so my favourite... I recommend seeing him live. He is my favourite performer without a doubt). Then on Friday, I was feeling worse (probably coz I went out the night before), but I went to work anyway. It was horrible. One girl didn't show up coz her car broke down, I was the only senior on and I was unofficially left in charge, but I couldn't do spot balances or anything because there was no one else old enough to work in the service desk. It was busy too... eek. The worst thing was... it really hurts to talk, and being in the service desk you say hi, that comes to... enter your card... any extra cash?... sign the slip... here is your reciept... have a nice day... A MILLION MORE TIMES than if you were on a big register. Thankfully it was only a short shift, and I managed to survive. Then today... I woke up feeling worse still, so I called in sick again. Again I feel dodgy, but this time I promise I wont go out at night!
And that shall be the end of my blah for today. I think I will go and watch blades of glory again, love that movie!

first thing to cross off my birthday wish list...
I have a secret. I bought a tamagotchi. Apparently this makes me a loser... oh well.
The good news is I probably wont kill him because you can pause it. But all little Oreo ever seems to do is sleep anyway...
Now I just need a friend to get a tamagotchi so they can have babies. I think any chance of that happening is pretty slim however. Unless of course I make friends with a 10 year old...

2 in 2 weeks? I think...
Last night I got random breath test number two. I have come to the conclusion that police must get especially bored on Tuesdays.

A funny story...
On Friday night I went away with all of my homies from the snow. We went to Port Welshpool, but we stopped for dinner on the way in Foster. While we were eating dinner, a man came to our table selling raffle tickets. So we all bought some, as you do. Jackie and I had 3 tickets between us... I had 65, we shared 66 and Jackie had 67. Just before the raffle was drawn, the man who was selling them asked Teigan and I to help draw out the raffle. Teigan drew out all of the tickets for the meat trays. Then I drew out all of the tickets for the chickens. The first ticket I pulled out was yellow 67 D... Jackie's ticket! So she won a raw chicken. I thought it was hillarious. The raffle man complimented me on my calling skills and then I ate the rest of my dinner... and then we were on the road again.
The end.
The end.

my (ridiculous) birthday wish list
It is now 20 something days until my birthday. (And I shall be a fun number... yay!) Even though I know I am probably too old for presents now, I suggested to my mother what she could get me for my birthday today... that is if she was planning to get me anything at all. And now I am inspired to make a birthday wish list... so here goes it.
+ An ambulance membership. (what I asked mumsy for... but i'm pretty sure she will get me a melways)
+ An all expenses paid trip to the dentist. (The next thing I asked mumsy for. I need to go to the dentist badly... but I don't want to pay for it... as in probably wont be able to pay for it. I'm sure it will be an expensive visit, I know I will need multiple fillings. Eek & Sigh...)
+ A car. (haha... yeah right)
+ A laptop. (a slightly cheaper haha... yeah right)
+ JB voucher. (yay, cd's and dvd's)
+ A tamagotchi. (don't even ask... coz I don't know why)
+ The last 3 seasons of full house (don't think they are even released yet)
+ A selection of board games. In particular... taboo, balderdash & cluedo. (coz I am a board games nerd... even if nobody wants to play with me)
+ A new bed frame. (coz mine is squeaky. I guess thats another haha... yeah right. But hey... wishes are not limited by funds)
+ A subscription to Frankie. (best magazine ever published)
+ Sewing lessons. (I really want to learn... and I need professional help!)
+ A massage. (It's all I ever want really...)
+ Season 2 of Road to Avonlea. (I'm pretty sure it is not available in Australia though)
+ Tickets to the spicks & speck-tacular. (would be so awesome)
+ Decent luggage. (I want to go places)
+ Some pretty flowers. (who wouldn't want pretty flowers on their birthday?)
+ A picnic rug. (would be handy, as it is coming into picnic season and all)
And I think that just about does it! Gosh... what a list. I don't wish for much, do I now? Oh well... its all just a bit of fun!

In need of direction...
I am a silly driver. As in I have no idea where I am going... I simply make it up. On Tuesday night, I was trying to go to box hill tafe, but the way I had planned to go did not exist. Well, it did exist... but I couldn't get there that way. (Was trying to take a road with no exit... coz I am dumb and clearly cannot read a melways. This is because I am a melway... and who needs another!) Anyhoo, I ended up going down warrigal rd, because I knew that meant I had gone too far, as it was the way to my cousin's house... which was definately past where I needed to be. I ended up calling my mum and asking her where to go, but she didn't know because I had the melways! I kept on driving, convinced that I could 'feel my way there' a stupid technique of mine that actually works more than you'd think. I drove past thomas st... which is the road that leads to my cousin's house. So I took the next left, and hoped that I could find my way to Jemimah's to ask for directions. I missed her house like a million times, as I have only been there once before... and her road is a funny one that goes in weird shapes. Eventually I make it to her parking space, however she is not home... so I call her and next thing you know... she's home! Jem gave me the directions I needed and I was back on the road.
*Breathes*
Finally I make it to box hill... only I am late. It was like 5 past 6 or something, and class started at 6... and I had another dilemma. Where the heck was I supposed to park? I did try and look it up before I left, but that didn't really help much coz really, I had no idea. So... I drove around for a while... up and down streets and what not. Eventually I park a million miles away at some medical centre car park... the upside was 'free parking til 6am', the downside... a big walk and I was getting later and later by the moment (funny that really). Blah blah blah... And now i'm up to the part where I find the room where the class is supposedly being held. Someone else had just got there, and they had discovered that there was nothing happening in the room. So, it was decided that perhaps class was supposed to start at 7 afterall. I personally not convinced. Sure, our room was empty, but I could here talking in the distance... words such as fashion, industry, folio and drawing were most definately being used. This made me very confused and anxious. But what did I do? I sat there for 10-15 minutes. Some people arrived for a photography class. They were waiting at my room. Then, the photography dude arrived and let them all in... to my room! Which clearly, was not my room at all... I had a mini freak and headed up the corridor... there was a room with the door open... there were people inside... it was my class... and it had been there all along! Not only was I late... but I was extra extra late coz I am such a silly head. Sigh... The tables were high and my chair was low... it made drawing very difficult. And all because I was late.
The End.

hiccups...
again! I have hiccups... I had hiccups today at work which lasted for about 3 trolleys. It was embarassing, the customers must of thought I was loopy. And now here I am, hiccuping once again. Crazy, I seem to be getting them a lot these days... and they just come out of nowhere! Sneaky little things...
la la la
Last week I went and saw The Waifs and it was incredible. Next week I am going to see Ben Lee and I am excited. And that is my story...

waiting...
I am waiting for season 5 of full house to arrive, and I am getting impatient! I just want to watch it now!! Gosh, I love that show... why don't they make tv like that anymore, hey? Fingers & toes it comes soon! Thats the one bad thing about buying stuff from ebay... you have to wait for it to be delivered! Please mr. postman, look and see...
Tonight these things happened...
Tonight I experienced my first random breath test! Yeah... exciting. Looking back I am pretty sure I indicated the wrong way back onto the highway, crazy crazy. Then, I went through the mc drive-thru to get some mc frozen cokes... I ordered and paid for mc mediums, but they gave me mc larges. And yeah... that is my story!
Oh, how exciting life is...
Oh, how exciting life is...

hey laser lips, you're mama was a snowblower...
hehehe, today I bought short circuit! You see, I watched it one last time before I had to take it back to the video shop, and I was so sad to depart with it that I went into leading edge, found a copy within 2 seconds and purchased it right away! It was only $14.95, and now it is mine forever!

runners yo.
Today I bought some new runners. It was the most money I have ever spent on real runners. I have never been a runners fan before, but seeing I am walking and working out more these days I realise the importance of good runners. And these babies are good! Walking in these runners is what I imagine walking in heaven will be like. They are so squishy! Do you know what, I just realised that runners is a really funny word...

don't leave her alone with scissors...
and when I say her, I mean me!
I am constantly fighting the urge to cut at my hair... I haven't tried anything for a few months now... well, that was until today. But something came over me... and I just had to snip. Its not so bad really, it was only my fringe (I wouldn't dare cut anywhere else)... but I do look kind of kimmy gibbler-ish.
I shall never learn...

moshi moshi
Sigh. I wish that I could speak fluently in at least one other language. No real reason why... except it would be cool, and almost like a super-power. And that is all...
Number 5 is alive!
Ahh... the greatest movie ever made. I watched short circut today, and it was great. And incredibly funny. I don't even know what made me think to watch it, but yeah maybe a week ago it popped into my head. So I when I was in the video shop and I needed to get one more weekly to make it cheaper, it was an obvious choice. Seriously, it was the best movie I have watched in ages. Before today I probably hadn't seen it since I was 10 or something...
oops...
The other day I had my first ever official 'Oh crap... i've locked my keys in the car' moment. Luckily I was only in Pakenham, but I was all the way in Lakeside. But everything worked out just fine and dandy in the end. The funny thing was though, that I was in and out of the car a million times that day, and I double checked my keys every single time! Well, clearly not the last time, but that was the only time I didn't! Ha, Oh well...

on the frey-dio uh-oh...
This morning I got called into work at 7am. And guess what song I heard in the car on the way... like the title doesn't give it away at all... yay, it was regina. And now I have been inspired to change the cd's in my car so I can always hear regina on the f-radio. All I have been listening to is the radio since I took out my cd's to put onto my ipod. But now the time has come for some new tunes. And among those shall be regina, the shins, the magic numbers, brooke fraser... and two more. perhaps angus & julia and mixed lollies can fill the last two spots. Yay, now I want to go driving!
Now to other news in mel's uneventful life...
I'm famous this week!! yay! (At least I think yay...) I am in the gazette baby! I am the take 10 girl... I have been recognized on the street already, well... ok, at my work... but whatever! Maybe later I will post the answers to my questions, if I can be bothered.
Do you know what... I have realised I am very lazy with my punctuation and stuff. Like yeah. And I only use capitals when I feel like it... Wendy, if you are reading this I am sorry! Ha, and I'm even more sorry for pointing it out... like as if you didn't notice!
And this would bring us to the end of yet another random blog.

yes I love technology...
but actually I hate it. I did resize those photos to much smaller than that... I swear... but whatever.
when you're still bored...
what to do...
Argh... I don't know what to do with my life! I just enrolled in a short course... folio building for fashion drawing and design. I figure it is better to try something instead of sitting around wondering forever... I just hope I am taking a step in the right direction. I have been interested in going to tafe to study fashion for a while, and this is the first step toward that... and if I change my mind later, thats ok. At least I tried something... yeah?
But argh. I just don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Part of me just wants to get married and move to the country to live on a farm and be a housewife and raise babies and keep house and be famous for making jams and current wine... But I know that is just a green gables kind of fantasy. I know I would be a sucky housewife. I know there is more for me than that. I just don't know what exactly. I hope that I figure it out one day...

brim full of asha on the 45...
What does the above title have to do with this post? Absolutely nothing. The song is simply in my head...
Hello. I haven't had a blog in a while, as I have been hiding in the snow... but I have been and gone and now i'm back. So now its blogging time!
So, where to start. I am not really sure...
So yeah, I went to the snow. It was pretty. I really loved it up there... the cold, the white... and the sound of the snow crunching beneath my feet was probably my most favourite thing. It only snowed a couple of times while I was there, but it was so beautiful. And I did manage to get myself a sound of music moment... (snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes).
In the begining it was all rather crazy busy. There was actually snow... so there were many people about... which meant lots of working. In my first full week, I worked 68 and a half hours... and then it gradually slowed down until I was no longer needed. I mostly washed dishes and made beds and cleaned bathrooms... but it was all worth it to get a good start to my lola fund. (which is what I am calling my car fund... until I actually have a car to name...)
But yeah. I can't really think of anything to say. Coz I'm boring... which is sad, but very true at this moment. I am home, so now it is back to the real world... whatever that is.
Anything else? I really don't think so.
Oooh I know... When I came home to open my mail... There was one little envelope that contained a letter telling me that I had won 15 songs from itunes. I was sure that the next thing I won would be a car... (as everything I seem to win is worth more than the last...) but I am a happy girl indeed as I shall download ben lee's new album. Yay!! I am a silly... I bought 3 cd's the other day... I could have just downloaded something!
Ok... now, the end. It was a bit of an odd blog, but I am an odd child. You get what you pay for... and this reading material is free. So there you go. Happy days to you!

like so not procrastinating right now....
Sigh. It is officially Friday... which means tomorrow I head for the mountains. (Even though there is two sleeps in between). I have soooo much to do. You really should see me try and pack... its ridiculous. I have lists and lists... and piles and piles of clothes... and no idea of what i'm really doing. I did not inherit the gift of packing. Maybe it skips a generation...
I hope I have enough hours to get all the things done that I need to. I keep putting off all the things I don't want to do... and that is gonna bite me in the bum tomorrow I am sure. And tomorrow I have to work. Only for 4 hours... but it is in the wrong part of the day. If it was at 6 or even 10... I could get so much more done. But it is at 2. Sigh...
Really, I should be doing things right now. Actually... right now I should be doing some online training thingo for work. But I am not. Because I am naughty perhaps... oh well. I'll get it done.
I just really hope that working up at the snow is good. Well, more than good would be nice. But for now... I shall do some of those things that I should be doing now.
The end.

who's a clever melly? I guess that would be me!
Or not... as the case may be. While shopping yesterday, I did a big whoopsie. I stood on my phone and broke it. Note to self: Do not leave phone in pocket when trying on clothes. And do not stand on phone that is in pocket while trying on clothes...
My phone, poor Rafanja... is dead. I had to buy a new one. His name is Rufus. He is exactly the same only he is a boy and the next model up. And he is black not purple. Ok so he is not exactly the same...
It was the most tradgical thing that has ever happened to me when it comes to phones... I lost all of my phone numbers and all of my games. I had fulfilled so many of my sims wants... I had bully tetris scores... And I had cluedo... but no more. But such is life it would seem. Now I just owe my mum $249...
So kids... learn a valuable lesson. Don't stand on your phone... Coz I have learned they don't like it very much.
The end.

It's snowing little rabbit!
So, guess who is going to Mt. Baw Baw for 2 months to work at a ski lodge? MEEEEE!!!! It all happened so quickly... I applied this morning, got a call an hour later... Did some thinking... called back and forth a few times... And I shall be leaving and starting work on Saturday!! How bully is that!! I've probably only been to the snow like twice in my life, and now I will be living there for 2 months!!! I could be working anywhere from 25-50 hours per week, depending how busy it is, I will be living where I am working... doing anything and everything from cafe type stuff, waitressing etc... to cleaning rooms, doing laundry... I guess I'll find out more when I get there! So yeah. There you go. I just can't get over the crazyness!
Yay!!!
Yay!!!
